I keep hearing that every black person gets "the talk" from their parents about police and what to do if they are stopped or confronted by cops. If that's true, then why are they omitting the most critical parts of "the talk"? I.e. don't run from police, don't fight with police, don't shoot at police. What is "the talk" if not that?!

If people want to protest they should cancel Netflix, cell phone, Disney, Amazon prime, Hulu, cable TV, etc in mass numbers. Don't buy anymore iPhone or galaxies, cancel any online banking. Start writing letters and only talking in person. Only gather in places without public surveillance. This would turn the world inside out overnight. This would start the change we really, truly desire.
