This is something to note for others using it after 1 year.
Initially the script didn't work on my bookworm os but then i tried installing the legacy 64 bit bullseye. It worked like a charm. I hope this can help others who got stuck. Most opencv tutorials have become outdated due to the amount of updates that raspberry pi gets.
