Im sorry you totally missed the point of the NP300 bakkie it's purpose is to be utility oriented, for farms, mines, plantations etc... and its perfect and well priced for what its purpose is not like a hilux or ranger which is no longer a utility vehicle over priced and weak at carrying loads.

Love the design, perfectly simple and uncluttered workhorse.

This is one of the most humble machines to ever exist, it's reliable, durable and there are a lot of aftermarket options

I bought one in 2010. Drove 230000 km and are still driving it. About 90% were on very bad dirt roads in the northern parts of Namibia with a 1000 kg load. At 3000 Rpm (115 kph) I still get 12 km per lt. If have not experience any technical problems. I just bought a new Nissan NP 300 2.5D High DC.

Were you aware that you were buying one of the oldest pick up designs when you bought it? There is a reason why it is so much cheaper than the competition. It was replaced by the Navara ages ago but Nissan pulled the VW Citi golf trick by continuing building this vehicle as a cheap basic vehicle for as you mention a certain niche market. Safety and comfort has evolved since this pick up was designed 20 ?? years ago. Honestly, I think you made a lot of effort to just tell us you did not do your homework before you bought a cheap pick up.

The nissan D22 is great work truck. Very low cost, very strong, easy to mod, always ready to do anything.

Respect the video but I don’t think you are grasping what the np300 is built for. The car is essentially a 20 year old car, so yes it has 20 year old styling. Put it simply, this car is a cheap workhorse, the car was built properly 20 years and Nissan stuck to it, call me kiss ass but this car isn’t designed to have you being comfortable it’s designed to be a workhorse and it’s dam good at it. Cheap, reliable and strong, that’s what you need to understand

Hi Ty, I will definitely subscribe (As done already) as I simply find your way of presenting so spot on. Now I know if you want to satisfy everyone, you should sell Ice-cream LOL. I am in the market for a NP300 (The exact model you previewed) and I must admit I still like it. My biggest issue with it is that Nissan has over priced this bakkie by a far margin. Again I love it as it is but I feel the Price Tag is just not fair at all.

Bro I cant wait for your next upload. I am now subscriber no 35 :)

Keep it up... Cheers

Best selling vehicle in Mexico, where pickups count almost as much as in the US but hard work utilitarian credentials count even more.... but for some reason they are sold with european safety options (you can see crash tests of the Euro NP300 vs the African NP300 and they are different)

That is a workhorse designed to be simple, it is not a luxury pickup truck. You are reviewing it for the wrong reasons. You should load it, make it work and tell us how it performs.

How do u expect nice features on a basic. Higher tier nissan bakkies do have cup holders, infotainment systems and a built in radio. Also they're color matched with alloy wheels. Please give it a break it's a basic! For that matter it does its job quite well.
