I think kramnik is trying to find something to champion. Other former world champions are all doing somthing witht their lives, kasparov is in politics, vishy is still playing, commentating, and rasing the next generation of indian players etc. but on the other hand kramnik ist well known outside of the chess comunity and for the lack of a better term unimportant nowadays. I feel he is trying to get back in the public eye but he is doing it the weong way.

Kramnik seems to blunder alot in his chess games and would rather accuse someone of cheating than to take responsibility for his actions as in doing so he would also have to admit that he's not at the level he once was
