I realize I'm not super good at adjusting the audio levels just right: in the video, my own voice is really loud and his video plays kinda quietly. I hope I'm able to fix it in the future. or maybe I can run some ffmpeg command to auto-normalize the audio

I know the video was already made and suggestions are pointless right now, but I would like to suggest to your past to add a dynamic horizontal line to represent the topmost rate. If a player pass the top record, then the straight line would follow the player until it reached a peak. There could also be a label on top of the record line saying which player holds the record. For example, although bobby fisher was not the top player after a brief period of time, its record was so great that it took a lot of time to pass it. Other players as well, and then Kasparov, which was only recently surpassed by Carlsen. And after the run was finished, the zoom out could be shown at the very end so the user could rejoice all the data at once (which wouldn't then require a separate 5 second video as Cary mentioned)
