I'm British myself, but hearing a British accent from a Slipknot member is... Odd.

If you turn the sound off, it's like he asking how how the hell does he play bass and the camera man is giving him instructions.

Never knew Slipknot had English band members. I do like the fretboard learning lights idea. Cute

The British accent is so so strange as a Brit myself

Alex isn't Paul. But Paul isn't Alex.

Alex is doing a fantastic job for the band, It's huge shoes to fill. Same when Jason Newsted, took over bass for Metallica when Cliff Burton passed. Keep up the great work Alex.

I like how he described his dream bass and how functional it is.

It's bizarre but wonderful to hear the bassist from Slipknot namecheck Mark King. Doesn't matter your genre, props to the greats always.

"I like Mark King". I like Alex already. Not afraid to drop the names of a great bassist with a totally different style. Class.

I HATE the looks of guitars and bass's without headstocks...LOVE that he gave a shout out to Mark King of Level 42 ❤

It's interesting that everyone but the band claims that V-Man had no part in the recording process but what did I hear him say? He used a certain Fender body with the graphite neck WHEN RECORDING THE RECORD...?

HOLY SHIT, HE TALKED!!!
It was awesome to see you live, V! Sadly it was the night where you passed out in Hartford. I'm glad you still got to play the bass solo in AOV.
Impressive Bass, that is!

Great shout-out to Mark King. One of music's most underrated bass players.

Do with inspiration what you want, this guy says that he digs Mark King from level 42 but he doesn't play like him.

That's irrelevant, fact is that if Mark King inspired him to start playing bass and he then went off in a different direction rather than becoming a clone of King's playing style. That's good. Who knows, there might be a Slipknot fan watching this clip going "Mark King, who is that, he must be pretty bad ass if V-man thinks of him so highly." resulting in that kid being exposed to a kind of music he wasn't aware of.
