I remember from history textbook during my junior high school days that papyrus was grown along the fertile banks of Nile river. Papyrus was the main source for producing ancient paper for ancient Egyptian writings

The Nile River has been in Egypt since the days of the ancient pharaohs, before there was Ethiopia on the map. The Nile River is a blessing from God to us on earth for all the countries of the Nile Basin and not only for Ethiopia
