ok scratch that: everyone who came here to learn, don't watch this video. it is purely false. the correct flags would be the first flag from 1871 - 1918, the modern german flag from 1918 - 1933, the first flag from 1933 - 1935, the nazi flag from 1935 - 1945, the allied occupational flag from 1945 - 1949 the modern german flag for west germany and the communist one for east germany from 1949 - 1989 and the modern flag from 1989 - 2022

Honesty out of the designs, the Nazi battle flag was probably the most appealing when it comes to the look. The colors and the usage of a historical symbol made it look unique for sure.
