Extended Proximal Femoral Triangle

n. saphenus, n vastus medialis, intermediate and medial femoral cutaneous nerves (IFCN and MFCN)

Around 10 cm proximal for midshaft of femur, just distal to where a femoralis meet m. sartorius

We combine this block with popliteal plexus block. This combination provide really good postop pain relief after TKA ang ACL-repair.
