We love a good APU, gaming without the need of a discrete graphics card opens up so many doorways for mini pc builds so of course, once we got the opportunity to get hold of one of AMDs latest APUs we just had to give it a test. Can the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G keep up with the latest titles all on it's own? Let's find out.

love the music! the 5600g is a great budget option or for playing older titles, Can't wait for AMD's new 7000 series APU 1080p medium would be nice.

I recently played Tunic on my 5700g and with a few tweaks it was able to run 1080p at a steady 60fps no problem. Agree with regards to the 7000 series apus.

Thinking of getting this for my son, with the crazy price drops on the CPU I was tempted to get him either this or the 5600 (he has a GPU) rather than trying to get an early ryzen 2nd hand. Currently £128 brand new for the 5600G is just crazy value.

I'm surprised that Doom Eternal didn't do better, that game seems so well optimized.

on my laptop with 2400U gta 5 runs low/medium something about 30 fps🤔extra cores and newer igpu helps a lot 5700g have 2 graphic compute units more so gta 5 60fps?
