I have watched many videos of Shoyan, a Japanese carpenter & am constantly blown away by his skill & attention to attaining perfection in his work. Now I have stumbled across your site & am further blown away by the attention to even the minutest detail for perfection. I am an 83 yr old retired & disabled Senior Master of Art in South Australia where one of my Majors was in Sculpture where I worked mainly in wood because of its tactile beauty. I was force into retirement because of my disability at the age of 47. Now I watch a lot of videos of people working with wood because it helps take my mind away from my constant pain.
