$.90/mi and he's gotta pay insurance and maintenance. I also noticed you charged him interest on the fuel. That's fucked up.

Just think the exchange rate cuts down even more, the driver is working for next to nothing vs the risk and debts, needs to be double that to even make it worthwhile.

That seems like pretty low pay for someone who has to pay for their own insurance and repairs. I'd be happy to get that as a company driver, but if I'm an O/O, I'm getting out and going elsewhere.

Alot of worthless insurance and that's beyond the worst fuel surcharge you should be embarrassed.

1.57 gross a mile .ET is probably the lowest paying company on the whole continent.
BTW current market average is 2.14 a mile for dry van for spot market. ET is contract, so they should be at 2.30 at the minimum.

The trucking business will NOT get better! Have been in the business for 24 years and every year the rates get WORSE the super carriers will end up taking every penny!! I live in the Central California Valley 80% of the produce of the 🇺🇸 comes out from this valley 1000+ loads a day but the mega carriers have taken everything!!

4630÷5460=84cents. What truck doesn't have expenses like tolls, diesel antifreeze, brakes, tires...😂😅
