Hard to choose a night vision device from the internet, since there's no way to go look at them. Does the Stealth Cam's IR (infrared) light, when you turn it on, seem visible at all on this? Or is the beam of light totally invisible unless you view it through this device? I ask, because I would mount this on my air rifle, and use it to locate, and shoot rats at night. I realize there is no way to sight this in, and would mount an infrared laser sight to the airgun too. The laser sight would throw a dot that would not be seen except when looking through this night vision device. It would be sighted in using it's windage and elevation adjiusters. I would make a metal bracket to mount the Stealth Cam to my airgun, using it's tripod socket. This should work fine, but scaring them off when I need to use the IR illuminator built into this device, wouldn't help matters.

My other question is, in some digital night vision monoculars, the viewing screen is super bright. How is this one?

How to record video as if it was a camera that can record video, zoom in on ur cell phone camera and use a cell phone to lens mounting bracket and attach to tripod, focus it all til clear image on cell phone screen. YOUR WELCOME!!!! :-D

This would be good for finding an animal sneaking around in the dark, but would not be good for much else.  I will eventually want one where the illuminator does not emit visible light, so it can be used to see humans undetected.
