Just did a karaoke song yesterday in a bar on mallorca Spain, everybody didn’t know the song, but me as a dutch guy I totally rocked the place and got applauded after the song by the whole bar !!! The energy from this song is just amazing!

One of those songs that need to be played loud in the car, loud at home to keep the neighbours awake and loud on the radio when it comes on. A classic record is one which stands the test of time and is played on both national and local radio. Proof is there - its 49 years old and still sounds as fresh now as it was when I bought the single - still played although added scratches make it sound unique!

I was 18 back then during the Spring/Summer of 1974 when this song was popular. I met a tall blonde named Donna and Radar Love became our song. An interstate romance ensued for 6 years then ended. She ended up with a local guy in CT and I with a local gal here in OH. Through contacts I found out she died of cancer in 2007. But whenever I hear this song I remember and am back ‘there’ in time and being as I hold back tears. And Time passes...
