I question about Sharepoint. If I have a Sharepoint list of actions (looks similar to Excel table). There are different people who have to make the actions and I can choose them from dropdown menu. Also there are target dates for these actions. Is it possible to have alert to the person responsible for the action and also alert when the target date has passed?

I've received alerts indicating that a significant amount of data was downloaded or altered within the past two days. However, I was not involved in any such activity, and there were no changes made by me or any suspicious activity detected on my computer.

Could these alerts be false positives, or could they be the result of a hacking attempt or phishing scam?

can I set the alert to a distribution list ? It seems it's not able to resolve the Email of the dist list

We have action items alloted to me in SP, I want my team to get an alert for these items & alot task to themselves without me asking. Sometimes I missed task allotment so thats y I want that whole team will get notification when anyone is alloting task on my name. Is it possible?
