I've had this tablet for a week and have no complaints, my uses are email, you tube, social media, web browsing and light games. The screen is very nice.

I just picked up the 128GB version (64/128GB versions have 3GB RAM, 32GB version has 2GB - the extra gig of RAM makes a big difference in performance, like the choppy loading you're having with the 2GB model). I have 0 complaints about this Tablet, BUT I use this in the car with sound on the stereo via Bluetooth, but I tested the speakers on it and they sound good but the placement being on one end would probably be annoying. This tablet hasn't broken a sweat at anything I've thrown at it.

My activities include Android gaming (mainly Asphalt 9 so far), Emulation (NES/SNES/MasterSystem/Genesis/GameBoy), YouTube, Prime Video, misc other stuff.

100% recommend.

Got my tablet a couple days back and it's awesome for watching movies and light browsing which is what tablets are for. Great value for money tablet and remember Samsung and Xiaomi are the best manufacturers for software updates on Android. The 2016 Galaxy Tab A has received 3 Android upgrades so I'd expect the same for this and in 4 years time it will be time to upgrade anyway.

Using Galaxy Tab A series feels like a joke even for the price. Hopefully, I would like to see Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with at least mid-range SD 675 (or SD 710/712 for Pro variant), a hybrid SIM, a headphone jack, a pretty decent dual camera for a tablet and perhaps the ability to connect to TV via HDMI or screen mirroring.
