Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019: Unboxing & First Impressions

In this video, I'm unboxing the brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 which is also called Galaxy Tab A T510 and T515. With prices starting at around 200 US Dollars, it is a lower mid-range tablet. However, as you can see in my benchmark and gaming test, the performance is very good. Additionally, it is the first tablet to ship with Android 9.0 Pie.

This is by far the best tablet for the price range. My friend recently bought it. Mainly for browsing, read kindle, play simple games etc. The 2gb ram is more than enough for that. Battery is good. Camera is almost the same as my Ipad 2018. She bought it for Euro 175 on Amazon Prime day. It’s a steal deal

I want my Samsung galaxy note 10.1 2013 original-but with upgraded ram to 3 gb and s pen. I love the original nothing tops it. I loved the way multitasking was and the way it had slide out on right for more apps. I loved the speakers in the front. Nothing compares to it in my book. Why do they ruin all the things we loved about the original? I had mine for seven years. I understand upgrades but not affecting what we loved. If they re- released it I would buy it in a heart beat.

I am planning to buy a tablet for reading pdf books and flies, take notes on them, highlight, underline, etc. so not to play games but mostly to do academic work. I am between this Samsung model and Huawei T5 32 GB, which one would you recommend? I have a Huawei smartphone for 2 years and so far it's been doing quite well. thanks.

Apparently it doesn't come with an S Pen. But did you test an S Pen from previous Samsung products with it?

Had an Ipad air2 and I sold it to get this tablet that was about $180usd. I'm really happy with the switch altho the Samsung can stutter sometimes when there are tons of apps in the background. I just find Android to be much more pleasant to use than the ipad OS when time comes to drag and drop movies and photos into the tablet from my pc. Being able to connect a usb hub and transfer pictures from my camera sd card to an external ssd is also great when I travel. It's really hard to hate this tab at this price point.

Everyone complaining about 2GB RAM, I have this tablet. It's just fine. Android 8 and 9 are both pretty damn good with memory management, and it handles multitasking just fine. Just because it sounds underwhelming on paper, doesn't mean it'll be awful. Remember - iPhone 8 only has 2GB RAM, and that runs like a beast. Sure, that's on iOS - but Android is coming closer and closer recently.

Hey. I just got one of these tablets and I noticed the screen is very uneven. The top right and left corners are considerably darker and yellowish than the rest, specially the top right one. This is noticeable on a white background, which bothers me a lot since I use it as an ereader. Is this normal or should I send it back? Thanks in advance.
