We've just bought a cheap abandoned farmhouse in the rolling hills of Umbria in Italy! Follow us as we drive from the UK to Italy to attend the Rogito meeting where we pick up the keys and explore the house for the first time.

We drove through France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland to reach Italy. In this video we show a bit of the drive, a quick snippet of the notary meeting - which lasted 4 hours - and then our arrival at the house in the pitch black. It wasn't the start that we intended, but hey, that's Italy! Finally, we show you around the farmhouse on a mini tour.

Oh it’s gorgeous! Well done guys. Im an Australian who was married to my late Sicilian partner for 40+ years. We never got the chance to go back. He always said if he took me to Italy he wouldnt get me to leave 😂. I will be doing the trip to Italy in his honour in 2025.
