I'm still using the one my parents bought when I was a toddler. I was born in '76. Enough said. Also, the fuel pipe is easily & cheaply switched out for flexible braided line & interchangeable fittings (or numerous other flexible and safe choices) you can find at pretty much every auto repair or hardware store.

I'm still using my Coleman two-burner white gas stove, 50 years old and still going strong 💪🇺🇸

my Boy Scout troop uses these all the time, we use the big white propane tanks, and we connect them with a propane hose, so it rests on the ground. We have had them for years and they work great in my opinion!

I have a white gas Coleman from when i was in BSA over 40 years ago and two of the Coleman Propane stoves that are 30 years old.
I always grab the white gas stove first and the the others if i have to cook for many hungry mouths. The white gas stove runs hotter and seems to last longer on a tank of fuel. Pumping it up also brings back memories.

I like the way the valves on the Coleman stove somehow never go bad. Never had a minutes trouble with them and I have had my stove for most of my long life. Coleman got it right, that's why they're still around.

Ive had the same coleman 2 burner for 20 years, and it was my dads before. Its possible its older than i am. Ole boy has made untold gallons of coco and defended my family from giardia for generations. Thank you

Being 74 years old and the only serving Male member of my Entire family I personally have the white gas version of the 2 burner, 3 burner and a 4 burner version of all these Coleman Stoves along with 6 Coleman Lanterns. All of them I inherited and used them exclusively for years. Many fried eggs and bacon along with trout and crappie and bass . Just as Pressure Cookers with all the fruits and fish in canned to persevere until eating. I have had a Blessed Life and I still give Thanks 🙏 to the ALL Knowing each Night.

❤ THANKS FOR NOT COMPARING THE TWO AND JUST TALKING ABOUT THE CHEAP ONE INSTEAD OF COMPARING THEM BOTH❤

I have a similar one, circa 1957, brand name is CADAC. Truly South African, bilingual (English and Afrikaans) type on all items, even has the original metal tumbler with screw on lid, that holds spares, like O-rings, jets (nozzles).

I already refurbished it, added a new hose, and renewed the seals on the knobs. Works fine, better than newer stuff.. And it has the olive drab paint that reminds me of my military years, and living outdoors for months on end.

The Colman was made 50+ years ago. Its still the best bang for the buck on the market. I had 4 of them that I got for free. I cleaned them up & gave 3 to the homeless. The Boy Scout troop was getting new ones & didn't want the "old dirty ones" even though they were exactly the same thing.

I love my Coleman stove! I love taking it with me when I’m car camping. It’s so reliable, easy to assemble and easy to clean up. A couple of years ago while camping, a couple of people were sharing a very light backpacking stove that was very expensive. They tried and tried to light it with negative results. I told them they could use my Coleman stove, they fell in love! Thank you for all the great videos, stoves and sharing your dad. We need to see your hubby some time! 😊

My parents have had one for 30 years. Still works like a charm. I’ve since adopted it for my own camping trips and don’t have many complaints except for heat distribution. Glad to know it hasn’t changed much in so long!

We used this in scouts, I've camped with other groups and they use this, and finally i bought one for our own camping adventures. This stove is iconic and you can get it to work with regular or pancake propane tanks.
