Hello everyone! Since making this video a couple things have changed. At 11:11 I show that you have to click on an option called 'Configure Scoped Storage', after a recent update to Mobile VR Station, that option no longer exists. You instead need to click on 'Configure Manage All Files' and then on 'Open Files All' that should then bring up the window you see at 11:22 and you can continue following the video from there. While the Quest 2 and Quest 3 are impressive pieces of tech I have always felt the visuals on most games are a lot softer (that's a nice way of saying blurrier) than I would like them to be. I've tried methods in the past using applications like Side Quest to increase the resolution of my Quest games and while it worked with some of my games, it didn't work with all of my games. Also, every time I wanted to play my games with sharper looking graphics I had to connect my Quest to my PC and manually change the settings. Thanks to Anagan79 we can now do this and a whole lot more all from within the Quest headset thanks to his app the Quest Games Optimizer. This app give you the ability to not only increase the render resolution of any of your native Quest games, but also allows you to adjust the refresh rate, the level your Quests CPU and GPU operate at and even the level of Fixed Foviated Rendering your headset is using. You can do this through using pre-set profiles that make it super simple to either increase your headsets batttery life, maximize your frame rate or make the visuals look as sharp as possible, or customize settings yourself. It's an incredibly powerful tool that's super easy to use. In this video we'll take a look at all of this, walk through what the Quest Games Optimizer does, how to use it and most importantly how to install it to your Quest. In the past you needed to use a PC, smartphone or tablet to install the Quest Games Optimizer but now this can all be done from within the headset, no PC, phone or tablet needed. This was the best app I've purchased after Virtual Desktop. The quality increase of HD+ presets in games like the Minigolf game makes the sharpness as good as PCVR. It completely removes that standalone "budget" feel I get in terms of graphics. Insane to think the Quest 3 was always able to give this type of quality. Best $12 I've spent on VR. Just took the jump on the QGO a couple weeks ago and it really is crazy how much better things look and run. Playing SynthRiders on High resolution and maxed framerate is fantastic. Even newer games like Witchblood (new to Quest 3) look SO much better. I was not super impressed with how some of the games looked before but now they really pop. And having the option to go full out Graphics mode on some games versus maxed framerate on others and any combination of both is awesome.

Just got QGO and followed the video until I hit a snag at “configure scoped storage” since I don’t have that folder.
Someone informed me that they’ve changed it and it’s now :

configuration wizard > show all options> configure manage all files < open files all

Now browse downloads and install clicking on top right icon in that program window

From there I went back to this video and everything was smooth sailing!

For anyone else having trouble in the Mobile VR Station app, you might have to click "Configure Scoped Storage" twice: once as is shown in the video and another time at the bottom of the screen when you see a bunch of warning messages about some type of workaround.

Heads up, the website changed, Verification is now under Account not Settings, but if you have added a payment card to your Meta account you don’t need to do it anyway as mine grabbed that info and said “You have successfully verified your Meta developer account”

I have NO idea . . . HOW . . . other YouTube tutorials on installing the Quest Game Optimizer have higher viewership than this video. And trust me, I've seen quite a few. THIS video here is HANDS DOWN the best video for my style of learning & following. Great video thanks. Why do Meta say they don’t recommend charging while using the headset yet there are loads of products available to do it - is there any risk to the Quest 3 ?that you know of

Honestly this is the best thing you can get for the money for your quest. I have a 4070 gfx card and don't even bother with pcvr anymore, the optimizer works THAT well.
