Smash Bros. Lawl Zero Character Moveset - Skeletor (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe)

Overhaul Era - Fifteenth Moveset
Skeletor and his evil forces spend the majority of their time attempting to conquer Castle Grayskull and vanquish He-Man from Eternia! But then one day, the bony lord of evil saw an odd but intriguing little fighting competition going on in the outside world. Since he had pretty much all the resources to enter, he joined to take a bit of a break on He-Man and focus on beating some new challengers, some with an equal level of evil to him!

Oh boy, this one's been a long time coming hasn't it? Plenty of multitasking on two other sets first before getting to this slowed down progress a bit, but it eventually picked up some steam once I chose to focus on this video, which I felt would be the best way to bring Lawl Zero back with a bang. See the outro for a few updates on Zero's schedule.

Personally really liked this moveset and I think it is my favorite so far out of all of Lawl Zero. While Neutral B was a bit confusing to understand (it is a roulette and also has different effects based on what it touches? And it randomly backfires?) and the KO Effect looks pretty bad, I really like the way you interpreted Skeletor here. Having him be a zoner with multiple assist characters works pretty well for someone like him, who for the most part didn't do much aside from complaining and sending his minions. Also the personalized taunts were GENIUS, and so fitting for Skeletor (and I also really liked his first victory pose)

Damn. First an Arceus moveset, then a Skyblue moveset, and now a Zero moveset?! This is a nice week for Lawl!

Easily one of your better movesets, not only is it so satisfying to see the return of Lawl Zero, but to finally see solid representation of someone who’s needed to be invited (or well, in this case probably invited himself) to Lawl for so long. Still really enjoy watching this moveset video, man, way to come back with a hit.

Starting on a good note, I honestly dug how Skeletor’s more or less doing his own thing in Lawl Zero so far. There is no meeting with other equally powerful baddies nor planning to attack randoms like Space Ghost or Garfield. It’s just Skeletor doing what he does best: trying to stop his arch enemy He-Man with some crazy seeming scheme of the week. A lot of his special moves fit well for him, such as his freezing magic and teleportation. Really like that side special, Cosmic Comet as it gives Skeletor both extra offensive and defensive options. If anything though, I’d probably cut the wait time to spawn another soldier in half. Skeletor needs as much malicious aid on his side as possible in the fight. Which speaking of, leads to Down Special. A lot of the time spent working with you on this was here, as I was uncertain how this idea should play out, with some things going unused like sprites and an animation. In the end, I think this came out pretty alright. Maybe in a future update video, you could show off some strategies you can pull off with the laser and Trap Jaw & Beast Man?

Speaking of updates, the one last thing I’d suggest is a better laser effect for Skeletor's Final Smash. The FS itself works pretty well for him, it’s just in need of a little more flair. Any other critiques being already pointed out nicely by Skapokon.

Everything else in this moveset video was really fun to see too. Like what I assume is Luxo’s stage, the Monsters Inc factory line (speaking of whoo, still crazy to see his victory this soon, but still glad for it), and Star Saber’s beefy idle. The major highlights of course being Joel’s cameo (thanks so much for including him, buddy) and Skeletor's taunt showcase. Little extras like this can really help a moveset video stand out, and I’m so glad to see everyone was properly insulted by the cartoon conqueror of metal. Thanks for this moveset that was well worth the wait and for letting me help you in certain areas. Hope this year gets easier and lighter on you, can’t wait to see the last 3 originals covered when you’re ready for that.

Every hero like He-Man needs a damn good villain. And Skeletor is one of the most dastardly out there.
Combat wise, his lack of speed is made up for his resourcefulness, with a multi-functional spell and several minions at his disposal. Character wise, he looks and fights just like in the show, constantly complaining and ranting when he's not hiding behind his resources, and the personalized taunts for each opponent is nothing short of brilliant. And i would like to commend the improval in production as well as the overall quality, it very much feels like i'm watching a legit moveset showcase. Overall, justice has been made for this evil overlord with this video. If only he can defeat He-Man with it.

While I only recognise this character for who he is and the "funnies" he does, I'm not entirely familiar with He-man.
But this was a treat to see Lawl Zero back in action nonetheless. The only gripes I have is that the Side B and Down B are slow moves to summon and leave Skeletor open.
Aside from that I thought his other moves were fine! I really liked how his Down taunt varies depending on who your fighting, which makes me curious about what he'll say to other fighters in yours and other lawl series! Overall, I'd say Lawl Zero came back with a bang and I'm looking forward to whoever is next!
Also the Joel cameo was an excellent addition
