I was having problems with Hero 4 Silver (new one) when tech support suggested refreshing the firmware. I did it and immediately was able to pair and get the camera working withe Windows 8.1 Nokia Lumia 928 App. She also had me verify memory card as this was important as far as specs. Hope this helps.

why there is no live view from the camera in the App? in my Android, i can visualize and use the phone as an LCD for the cam, plus that i can also preview, and download photos and video to my phone in high and low quality.
is that possible in the windows phone app? im planning to get a 1520, but thats a deal breaker.

The GoPro App for Windows Phone just does not work for me. I get a searching message at the top then nothing. Was able to connect to the GoPro WiFi, but beyond that it does not work when it come to the official App in the Windows Store. Not sure how you are getting it to work but I think you are not using the same app that we get from the Windows Store. So I am inclined to agree with MobileCameraApps on this and say that it is not compatible yet. :(

I wil be seeking refund for this ripoff ...all it does is get rid of 6 digit number off camera... In no way does it allow sync with the gopro app... Be warned.
