How Do I Fold and Secure My Vive Folding Cane?

I swear I just bought a folded cane from Walgreens, and of course I didn't know how to get that plastic off.

And yes, I came on YOUTUBE to see if someone made a video showing how to do it,

and it was this Video that popped up, and now I'm using my FOLD UP CANE ❤️ :😀

you're a life saver!!! Why doesn't this thing come with that simple instruction about squeezing the strap???? I've been trying to figure out how to get it past the locking thingy (technical term). You'd think they'd want to make it easy for people but instead, this has been doing my head in! I've been wrestling with it for ages with not much hand strength - and all it took was your brilliant video. Thanks much!

I bought the cane on amazon, I'm 5'3 and i wasn't about to adjust it to my height, it's not for anyone under 5ft 5 it seems.
