Cereal is a soup.

It definitely is.
Think about it, soup is usually a liquid dish made from stock or water, but dairy also satisfys that because there are plenty of dairy based soups available(broccoli cheddar, cream of mushroom, etc).Essentially a bowl of cornflakes consists of two ingredients:Corn and milk, technically making it a corn chowder albeit a terrible corn chowder.If you argue that cereal isn't soup because it's cold then you'll have to denounce gazpacho as soup and say that soup ceases to be soup when it's chilled, meaning that cereal is becomes soup when it's microwaved.Bam!!!

Mm soup requires some type of vegetable/stock. Now people would point to tomato soup, but tomato soup is just basically tomato sauce that’s been watered down. It doesn’t deserve the right to be called soup. Soup is a base with add-ins, while the add-in to cereal would be milk. Cereal can be eaten dry, while soup cannot. There’s also stew, with the main component being meat, a broth, and vegetables. So no, cereal is not a soup. Soup requires a broth. Milk is not a broth as it is not made from meat and water. I rest my case.

My English is not good. Anyway.. As a Korean, in old Korea, there was a `죽`(juk: korean style rice soup) made of milk, so milk soup. So whatever goes in there, it's soup.

cereal is a soup, its served in a bowl with flavorful liquid. "but soup is hot" cereal can be warm amd soup can be cold "but its sweet and is a desert" who tf cares
