This is the THIGH TO CHEST test.

We use this to assess how much hip Flexion you have.

Hip Flexion is relevant when you have:

👉 a disc problem
👉a hip impingement (where Dr Nico points in the video)

For each finger your thigh is away from the ribs, subtract 7.5% function.

If your thigh is 3 finger breadths away from your ribs, that’s 78% function. A C+ grade.

The most common possum restricting this range in 30-50 year olds is this glue called ADHESION.

In 50-90 year olds, it’s hip DEGENERATION (which can’t be fixed).

We typically treat 2 primary tissues for adhesion to fix this:

1️⃣ Posterior Hip Capsule
2️⃣ Adductor magnus (the precious video in our feed)

The best part about being 30-50 years old and having adhesion is you’ll notice flexibility changes immediately after the treatment!
