Disney are possibly the smartest company out there. To buy marvel, star wars and now maker studios shows us that they are run by very smart people who know how to keep rolling in more money. People complaining in the comments need to realize not everything goes the way they want it to.

I think it would be very interesting to hear Phils side to this considering he was one of the original co-founders of Maker Studios. It's nuts it sold for so much, Disney are really trying to grab as much as they can and I personally don't see anything wrong with that. :)

I think it's great, they put so much effort in it, they deserve to be so successful. I'm a huge Shaytards fan, so I'm especially glad for Shay.
If you look at where he started (his First daily vlog) and where he is today, as a cofounder of Maker, it is just amazing.
