Space missions usually take years to prepare. Now the European Space Agency is designing one that can spring into action when an interstellar object appears, allowing a close-up look before it passes us by.

The brain capacity by these scientist's is increadibly amazing. Thanks so much to who has devoted their life to get these answers to the Universe deserves our applause. It's spellbinding to think of what and where it all began.

Having interceptors in space ready for new comets is a solid plan, those could have other tasks while waiting

If it is actually an alien spacecraft, but disguised as a rocky comet? To try to avoid detection.

Kind of like how we on earth have stealth fighter jets that are designed to be undetected.

Randezvous with Rama, Arthur C. Clarke- that;s what she;s talking about, about quick crew rocket missions to discover what object like Omuamua hides.

number 1 : Nobody KNOWS what Omuamua actually looks like (That slab of granite we're always shown, thats an ARTISTS RENDITION)
number 2 : According to Harvard Astrophysics Phd Avi Loeb : Omuamua is 110% artificially engineered. NOT A SLAB OF ROCK.

It's just frozen alien poop ejected from some alien space cruise ship.

What about landing on it then hitching a ride wherever it's going? Maybe an express route out of our solar system?

'Oumuamua is the name given to the first interstellar object ever detected passing through our solar system. It was first discovered by astronomers in October 2017 using the Pan-STARRS1 telescope in Hawaii. The name 'Oumuamua comes from the Hawaiian language and means "scout" or "messenger from afar."

'Oumuamua is an elongated, cigar-shaped object, estimated to be about 800 meters long and 80 meters wide. Its shape and unusual trajectory suggested that it was not from our solar system but had traveled through interstellar space before passing near the Sun.

Despite much speculation, the exact nature and origin of 'Oumuamua remain a mystery. Some scientists have suggested that it could be a natural object, such as a comet or an asteroid, while others have proposed that it could be an artificial object, like a spacecraft. However, there is currently no direct evidence to support either hypothesis, and the mystery of 'Oumuamua continues to intrigue scientists and the public alike. 👽 chatgpt
