CARAMEL Hot Cocoa

This one. This is it. If you make one new recipe this season, let this be your new cup of cocoa. I don’t usually drink my sweets, but I went back for a second cup of this. It’s that good.
1/4c white sugar
1/4c heavy cream
2c whole milk
60g (about 1/2 of a bar) white chocolate
A pinch of salt

Melt the sugar slowly, turn off the heat and continue melting and stirring until the sugar reaches a golden amber color. Add your heavy cream, whisk (it will bubble violently) add the milk, turn the heat back on low and simmer until everything is warm again, add the chocolate, and salt, and whisk until smooth.
