I like that Apple FINALLY acknowledged that people also lose the AirPods case pretty easily too so now it can be tracked. Thank you Apple! Other than that I’m excited for the new generation, been wanting to upgrade my original Pros for over a year now!

I just received mine too and they are really worth the upgrade from the old Pro! Sound quality has noticeably been improved and now they don’t “scream” anymore, if you lay with them against a pillow, like the old ones did, that’s actually huge! - I can really tell that transparency mode (my preferred mode) has been improved too - and if you get them engraved directly from Apple, the engraving even show up in the 3D animation which shows every time you connect them to your iPhone 🤯😂 All in all, classic Apple magic!

As somebody who owned the Sony XM4’s, I really didn’t notice much of a difference with the ANC but the comfort is what made me return the Sony’s and pick up the 2nd Gen. They don’t hurt your ears at all for someone like myself who likes to lay in bed and watch some YouTube or Netflix before knocking out.

I am leaning towards getting the AirPods Pro 2 but I am really sceptical because I don’t want to repeat the static and hissing noice issues that were in the gen 1 AirPods Pro. I am still facing those issue despite getting them replaced 2 times. I think waiting for 2-4 months and getting a full on review and then buying one is a better option.

Kudos to Apple for adding AirTag technology to the case. I would LOVE if they added it to ALL their portable products and accessories (Apple Pencil, iPad, MacBooks)

The biggest selling point for the pro 2 was the 2x noise cancellation. Daily commute would be so much better.

2nd Gen is gonna be every introvert's (like myself) favorite now that the noise cancelling is even quieter 😂 sometimes social events filled with extroverts can get too loud and rowdy, this will be a life saver for me.

Edit: went to the store and bought one, used it on the usually loud intersection in my city, I can say, they've definitely improved the noise-cancelling and the sound quality! The sound is more defined compare to my 1st gen!

So since the airpods' transparency mode supposedly protects against loud sudden noises, could I theoretically use them at a shooting range as ear protection while simultaneously hearing everyone else talk just fine?

The one concern I have is if they sound better than the 3rd gen AirPods. In my opinion those sound the best so far. Already ordered my AirPods Pro 2 so I’m just waiting to test it out. But I wanna know your opinion

I work at a factory constantly around noise I have air pod pros and just got the 2nd gen and it’s so much better for noise canceling
