Stihl 026 vs Dolmar 5105 vs Stihl 261c

all 3 saws have 16 inch bars with fresh stihl .325 rs pro chains. Log was 13.5 inch green oak.

026 has squish set to .020 otherwise stock

5105 has cat removed in muffler otherwise stock, muffler not modded in any other way

261 is stock and seen a mtronic calibration shortly before.

5105 is torquer than both stihls. this saw consistently lost to the 261 when it has 3/8 chain in bigger hardwood. it's totally different with .325. I'll never understand why they put 3/8 on most of them.

with .325 the 5105 is much closer and surpasses the 261 in big hardwood. smaller or softer the heigher reving 261 comes into its own.
