Spider-Man: the Original Trilogy

The superhero genre wouldn't be what it is today were it not for Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3. The trilogy brought the hero to the screen like we'd never seen before and is one of the landmarks in American film. With the release of Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man, it's time to celebrate one of the most amazing trilogies ever to hit the screen.

This reel highlights key moments from all three films in the trilogy, so be wary of spoilers if you haven't seen them all.

This trilogy and The Dark Knight trilogy are great on there own way but knowing that theres going to be full superhero trilogys in a couple of years THESE will always be in my heart because they have that human element and great characters.

I love this trilogy so much, I really almost cried watching this video, all the great memories that this movie series has brought me over the years, I really can't wait to see what Marc Webb has in store for us in Amazing Spider-man 2.
