Показать описание
All eukaryotic cells have microtubules, stiff hollow rods constructed from a globular protein called tubulin.
Size of microtubule is 25 nm in diameter, lumen is 15 nm. Microtubule disassemble in one location and reassemble in another.
Microtubule normally found in cilia, flagella, centriole, and basal granules.
Structure of microtubule:
Microtubules are Hollow tubes with structurally distinct ends.
Microtubules are built from subunits—molecules of tubulin—each of which is itself a dimer composed of two very similar globular proteins called α-tubulin and β-tubulin, bound tightly together by noncovalent interactions.
