Also, I love Gay's poetry collection and the cover is beautiful. It looked great as I'm a poetry lover. Haha.

Great to know that you read nine books in September, I think I read around 5 - 6 books in September, haha.
Margaret's trilogy sound intriguing. It's also fun to know that you love travel books. Also, Williams Howarth's Travelling the Trans-Canada looks fascinating, your description of it reminded me of Cinda K. Swalley's The Golden Hearts Club that detailed the cross country adventure of two sisters in the United States.
Great video and a fantastic wrap-up. I loved it.

You're right - we definitely get more self-absorbed when we're grocery shopping! 😆

Wonderful wrap up and yay for The Remnants trilogy! I'm glad you seemed to enjoy it as much as I did. :)

Road tripping while stopping at cultural festivals sounds like The Dream!!

Reading Jules Verne when he was first published would have been incredible! 😎 1861 sounds really interesting, I've noticed that the focus of history as a study has shifted fairly recently to be less about battles and dates, to more of a holistic anthropological approach.

Excellent wrap up! I still need to get to The Keening. It’s been on my Kindle for so long. Beautiful poetry book! I couldn’t get into Mrs. Dalloway and had to abandon it.

Swallow Falls! Wow, what good timing for settling in. If you are anywhere near Innisfree Gardens may I recommend a visit? It's a different vibe entirely, but a beautiful place.

I love Around the World in 80 days by Jules Verne. That one is well paced for me. Look forward to your video review of Margaret Pinard’s books. 1861 sounds interesting. I will have to check it out.

I loved the Remnants Trilogy. I have the U Tag coming out tomorrow, U is for underwater, I mention 20 000 Leagues Under the Sea. Mysterious Island continues the story of Captain Nemo. Mrs Dalloway did have a dramatic moment (I won't elucidate as it is a spoiler). You had a productive reading month.

BAHAHAHA, an unforeseen complication--don't read THE KEENING while moving--NOTED! 😜

I guess we'll see if your opinion of The Remnants trilogy is mirrored by our mutual experience with Memory's Hostage. I'm also guessing you'll enjoy Dulci's Legacy more than I did (I did enjoy it more than Memory's Hostage). I enjoyed that you read another coffee table book. Keep those coming! 1861 sounds interesting. I also took a Civil War history class in college. Darned technology! But it allowed those great pictures of Swallow Falls State Park. So yay technology?

Oh I saw the video of you reading the poetry come up in my feed, I still need to watch it! I really want to read Greenwood, and 1861 sounds so good. I'm much more interesting in how people were feeling during wartime than the battle. (don't tell anyone but I don't really like stream of consciousness either)

I also found both Mrs Dalloway and 20, 000 leagues a little boring, clearly more happens in Mrs Dalloway, as 20, 000 leagues Unders the sea is the most boring book ever written.
