HEre people have preferences for sitting in the 3 nearest chairs, which is why we have the impossible situation of two consecutive people not being able to choose chairs to the left of them. Actually chairs to the left of the chairs in front of them; alternatively replacing left with right gives us the sea result. What happens if someone has a preference for sitting in the 5 nearest neighbor chairs.
