In South Africa at a McDonald's, you can ask to have an ice cream cone with a Flake and the bit in the ice cream gets all hard and crunchy and it's GOOD.

We also crumble them and put them as garnish in loads of desserts. They do melt in your hand if you eat it just as they are (also a very good option).

Also, never heard a Flake be called a Flake bar... interesting.
