Latin American Catholicism is a great example of how this happens.

No surprise. We were told they'd call bad good and good bad. History has shown people love to make their own truth. Not how it works, but they'll keep trying.

Thank goodness the Book Of Mormon can stand on its own. I know that it is true and was translated by Joseph Smith .

Society is always strained. It's innate in any society because society is a unit of many individuals. This is why freedom and liberty are a must. That is what the Book of Mormon teaches. It also teaches that there must be a moral basis that all in society agree to live by, a shared virtue, that despite the individual desires and choices made, all in society agree to abide by, and allow themselves to held accountable to.
Critical Theory seeks to challenge the shared moral standard, criticize the virtue, and vilify those who uphold it. For what purpose? So that individuals can live the way they want to live, outside of the moral standard, and not up to the virtue level established by the society, being grossly arrogant and selfish, but also reap the benefits of a moral and virtuous society.
Critical Theory whitewashes toxicity in a society.

The Jews/Israel are still waiting for their Savior to come and resolve all political and war conflicts.

So, CR theorists are saying they believe the Book of Mormon is true? That it really is what Joseph Smith said it is?

Regarding CRT, the dear professor must have forgotten about 4 Nephi 1:16-18 which talks about to condition of the people for 300+ years after the Savior appeared in the Americas

Verse 17 clearly states there was zero CRT. There were ONLY Christians.

Another example of yet another learned person wresting the scriptures.
