Islam fundamentally misunderstands how Jewish and Christian scripture works

Im an atheist but the Islamic claim is that the old and new testaments are corrupted ... but when did that happen?

but the Quran and Hadith clearly state that during the 7th century, the books of the Jews and the Christians (which accoarding to the same sources are the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospels) were authoritative

Thus, if you accept Islam you have to believe that at least those books of the bible were uncorrupted at the time of your prophet

But we have complete bibles, not just manuscrips, but complete codexes dating to as early as the 4th century ... you can only accept the 10 books of the Torah, Psalms ans Gospels and then reject the rest, but you have to accept those 10 from that time as authoritative or else you go against what the Quran and Hadith say

We have complete bibles from pre-Islamic times in both Greek and Latin... if modern bibles had those 10 books tampered with, it would have happened after the time of your prophet and we would clearly see it when comparing to the Latin and Greek bibles from before Islam

I can read Greek because I am from Greece and let me tell you, a modern English version of the gospel of Mark doesnt really differ in any way from the original Greek text

you dont have to know Greek, just go to a bible website that has an interliniar version and see for yourself if there is evidence of any corruption

and we know that the Greek we read was written before the 7th century and that accoarding to the Quran and Hadith, the Torah, Psalms and Gospels that existed at that time were considered the uncorrupted and preserved word of allah

Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the day of resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate For wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according the oppression which he has done, & if he has no good deeds left then the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him ( Sahih Bukhari 2449 )

There's a lot of misinformation here

The New testament books were written between around 50 to 110AD. 20-80 years after Jesus death.

The Old testament has been preserved incredibly well for centuries, and it is generally believed the Jewish tanakh (old testament) was mostly completed around 6/500 BC. We have complete copies of it from the third or so century BC (dead sea Scrolls).

This is an interesting conspiracy theory, but about as academically accurate as the flat earth
