10 Shocks of Visiting Sweden

5 Things You Will LOVE & HATE About Stockholm

What to Eat in Sweden

We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

Yes, we swedes frequently invite complete strangers into our homes. In fact: don't even bother waiting for an invitation! Just find a house, and enter! The screaming is just our customary welcome ritual.

* Don’t stand to close to a swede at the buss stop
* Don’t talk to swedes at all while commuting. They might think that your’re a psycho.
And so on..

Yeah and one thing about Swedes(yes im Swedish) is that we are most of the time very helpful so dont be afraid to ask a Swede if you have any questions. And also as mentioned in the video most people in Sweden are great at speaking english

As a Swede, I find this video HIGHLY accurate. The only thing I'd like to point out is that Stockholm is *extremely* overpriced, and doesn't reflect the rest of the country that well. They KNOW they can get away with those insane price tags because of the tourism. But if you check out the smaller towns just a couple of miles outside the capital, you'll notice that you'll be able to get things for much more managable prices. :)

Kudos to you for making this video, and thank you for enjoying our silly country! <3

Also, don't you dare to confuse Sweden and Switzerland. This is the fastest way to annoy swede I know.

Of course you don't have your shoes on indoors. You leave dirt all over the floors and they have to clean up after you. I don't understand how this is such a foreign concept. Shoes outdoors, no shoes in homes.

”The swedes are reserved and quite except when they are drinking” lol I totally agree.

As a Swede, I can only find Swedish food during holiday seasons or at IKEA.
We actually don't have that many restaurants dedicated to our own food.
The best way to try Swedish food is to find a lunchrestaurant, usually only open between 11-14 and are often found near big industries.
An other good way to explore the Swedish food is to befriend a Swede, we love to show that we can speak english, and we most certainly would love to show you our foodculture.

Sweden is so beautiful. Stockholm almost robbed me of my entire life's savings but the Vasa Museum and Skansen made me forget about it completely. Greetings and love from Germany ♥

Fun fact in Sweden 89% of the population speaks English... that's more than Canada which has 85% so don't worry y'all
