I've got a retired racer, Greyhounds are all the same just derpy and lazy but also canned tornadoes when they get excited. Their farts are toxic tho

Greyhounds according to people who don’t know them: super energetic racing dogs that don’t make good pets.
Greyhounds in real life: super soft, cuddly, gentle, affectionate, loving, quiet, lazy and low maintenance.

I know a bunch of people who have rescue greyhounds. COUCH POTATOES!!! Just remember to always keep them on a leash – just in case they see a cat, small dog, or random rabbit that they just have to chase – and you’ll be fine. They are very friendly and prefer to nap on the sofa next to their people. They are truly wonderful dogs and surprisingly don’t require tons of exercise.

Nothing like watching a grey hound, whippet or such like in full flight. I grew up with a racing greyhound that was absolutely incredible.

My Grandparents used to have two greyhounds and they were the most odd yet sweetest dogs u could ever find. They’re so weird but in a really good way. Unbelievably fast yet super lazy. I miss them both a lot

They are gentle and affectionate pets. Incredibly lazy. It’s like having a giant cat.

Notice on the side by side comparison the cheetah’s head stay perfectly still when the body is in motion while the greyhound entire body is bouncing

The grey dog racing in the split screen with the cheetah is actually a whippet named Winston, who lost that competition (AKC World’s Fastest Dog) to another whippet named Reas. Whippets will even smoke greyhounds in a shorter 100 yard race. 😳
