you can either factor using trial and error, or you could use the quadratic formula to find the roots, and use those to factor

@landdcollection Basically you follow the same rule as what patrickJMT does. If you are confused about the (x + 5)^2, the squared basically means that there are two of the (x + 5) being multiplied together. Writing: (x + 5)(x + 5) and (x + 5)^2 are the same thing. It's just that it is a lot faster to write it as how your book writes it. Hope this helps :)

Its a easy as
9x²+24x+16
= (9x²+12x) (12x+16)
= 3x(3x+4) +4(3x+4)
= (3x+4)²
Math is actually fun you just have to follow the rules especially in a quadratic expression
