That is pretty wild to know. I mean it makes sense on some of the lore people have wrote on some Gretchen kind of secretly whispering into a warbosses ear the whole time and manipulating him while perched on his shoulder. But the grot should make the warboss think he thought of the idea like 'boss remeber this and that' warboss: OH YEA THATS RIGHHHT! GOOD GROTTY BOI' . It funny to think about and definitely orkie.

It's always been my Head Canon that the Krorks had a caste system with the smallest (snotlings) being the leaders. I didn't know this mushroom lore until now

You can really tell that 40k had its roots in a pastiche with its roots in Warhammer Fantasy

I remember this lore. In my head it's still the true canon. Not a fan of any of the retcons to be honest. At least not any of the ones I'm aware of.

This fantastic tale sounds kind of like a mushroom induced twist on the L Ron Hubbard Scientology Xenu story. Except instead of them being blown up with confused Thetans wafting about as a result, instead lack of smart mushrooms just made everybody dumb. Is that then what MAGA lacks is mushrooms?
