So the merger was pointless. the gutting of Cartoon Network, the cancellation of a bunch of cartoons and movies cancelled for what? just they can immediately sell it? This lowkey pissed me off.

Warner Brother Discovery has a problem. Ever since it merged with Discovery its stock has declined 70 percent. Despite all the actions to make it profitable the best they have been able to do is have Discovery's profit cover the small losses of the WB debt load (studios, streaming, all activities are profitable now but all profits cover the debt load payments). However, the question is do they just keep using the WB to pay off the debt with Discovery or sell off parts to reduce the debt load and increase profitability? The long-term outlook is keep everything, pay of the debt, and be a profitable mega company. The short term is sell components and make them more profitable now - but shrink the company. Depends on what they want to do regarding stock price.

Raising the prices of streaming services will quickly have people cancel their subscriptions. People cut the cord because of the prices. Same thing is happening to the paid streaming services as a lot of them are losing subscribers. Nobody learned from cable do they?

Question for Luke: I'm getting a high end television but I don't know which television provider streams the most 4K content. Which do you suggest? Why haven't more broadcasters play content exclusively in higher definition standards?
