Collapsing the rail by such force helps to shorten the rebound angle which allows the cue ball (or object ball when using it against the rail) to come up short of the mirror pocket and rebound again off that opposite rail increasing the chances of potting the intended ball.

i made a awesome 3 rail kick in shot against a opponent with only 2 balls potted, , i lot of balls on the table, ithere was no clear shots on any other balls but the 3 rail kick in shot at the corner seen the clear path between each rail, i called it and made, im sorry im just amazed with myself my pool skills are getting good, thanks to your videos :)

ever try doing a long 3 rail kick in, not the typ you touch 3 separate rails, wish there was a way i could explain it to ya good, cue ball hits side rail lil below side pocket, goes down hits bottem end rail comes back down hits side rail where the object ball is in front of corner pocket...pretty cool lookin shot

How is this harder? If your shooting 40 to 20 like you first shot, shooting across the table in the other direction at 20 or even 19 with maybe a 1/4 tip of high right will get the same results. When I teach diamonds I break it down into 3 segments, half table, full table and top and bottom rails. Could you do video's showing this? If I had a table at my house I would do my own. I give lessons at my home location which has diamond tables with pro cut pockets.
