Say it with me: DARK SKIN IS BEAUTIFUL🗣🗣🗣

So it’s 2024 and sadly c0lorism is still very much an issue in many communities around the globe. It takes all of us to do our part to fight even the seemingly unimportant ways it shows up. Don’t let them make that “joke” in front of you. It’s not okay and it has never been okay. Don’t take the jab at your darker sisters or brothers as a “compliment.”

Pale as the moon, dark as the night sky or everything in between — there is no perfect shade or tone your skin should be. Those blessed with more melanin are just as stunning and deserve their flowers and the utmost respect. Check yourself and question those in your circle who perpetuate this behavior. That is how we all grow. And that is how we truly spread kindness to others. Love y’all <3
