Just like one of the mystical incidents where there have been two people who died drowning in the lake, even though both were very good at swimming. It is said that according to eyewitnesses, before swimming the two of them swaggered themselves in front of the lake.

legend of gatot kaca, myth of barong.

Ghatotkacha (Sanskrit: घटोत्कच, IAST: Ghaṭotkaca, literally: "Bald Pot") is an important character in the Mahabharata. His name comes from the fact that his head was hairless (utkacha) and shaped like a ghatam. Ghatotkacha was the son of the Pandava Bhima and the demoness Hidimbi.

The Barong tells the story of Rangda, an evil witch who was feared by the people. Barong then rides into battle, along with his own army, to bring the evil witch to justice. During the dance, dancers are put in a trance where they start stabbing themselves due to Rangda's witchcraft.

Myth of Prabu Siliwangi. He is a popular character in Pantun Sunda oral tradition, folklores and tales that describe his reign as a glorious era for the Sundanese people. According to tradition he brought his kingdom greatness and prosperity.

The character of King Siliwangi is semi-mythology since in Sundanese oral tradition simply identify the great king of Sunda as "King Siliwangi" regardless the era or historical periods. It is difficult to identify the exact historical character that represented in the legend of King Siliwangi. As the result the tale of this king spanned and vary greatly from the mythical era of Sundanese gods to the coming of Islam in the land of Sunda and the fall of the kingdom.

Several historic Sundanese kings are suggested as the real character inspired the legend of King Siliwangi. The most popular interpretation links King Siliwangi with Sri Baduga Maharaja.

there are so many legend and myth in indonesia. the example of legends are, The Legend Of Ratu Kidul, Maling Kundang, and Timun Mas. and there is this myth the olds used to say, although im not if this consider as a myth: "banyak anak, banyak rezeki" in english means "more kids, more fortunes" that stated if u have a lot of child, the more fortune u will get in your life. and another myth is : "If you don't sweep the floor clean enough, you will get a bearded husband!" this is a common thing mothers say to their daughters when teaching them to clean around the house. they believed that if their daughters didn't clean the floor very well, in the future they will be married to men who has beards, mustaches, and sideboards. As the girls grow older, I don't think they would mind that anymore, do they?
