This is the exact type of doctor that everyone in medicine should aspire to be! Someone who can treat someone (unless its life threatening) by improving your mental/physical/emotion health, instead of medicating your symptoms.

I remember being a kid, and talking with phd's about my depression. Doctors always tried to get me to take all sorts of ef'd up things to destroy my mind, spirit, and body. To this day, idk if those doctors thought they were helping, or making a lab-rat out of a human child... Nowadays I'm very happy, and still growing as a person. About to hit 30 and haven't been sick since I stopped seeing the doctor. Although, I trust this guys judgement. He sounds reasonable, and well educated, with valid points.

Thanks Doc!

My mother taught me that too, she is a doctor as well 😁 she constantly emphasize that exercise is an antidepressant in short

I'm incorporating rolling on the floor to my daily activities. No, seriously, thanks very much for this.

I'm really struggling, nobody will probally see this comment but I'm going to try to exercise since I don't have the money for therapy/medication since I live in the United States.

This is why my ADHD came on strong when I stopped teaching 10 yoga classes a week when Covid hit.

I think ADHD is kind of a gift. We have to do so many healthy things everyone should do, no matter what diagnosis. You always have to eat healthy, excercise, do what makes you happy and see/meet the right people 😄

Love this no doubt helpful video. Unfortunately I still barely know what he's saying after watching it 4 times because I have adhd.

My problem is I don't know if I have ADD or not, but I know there is something, I don't think I am normal, when I compare my self with my college or friends in any thing I do (sports, studying, courses or even In life ), I think they are way better in getting the information and learning new skills that puts me in alot of embarrassing situations and some times my colleagues or instructors feels like I need special attention, even in the sport I never play team sports as I always think that I will make them lose and they will blame me ( and that infact happened alot when I was kid) .

also in any interview for work or any sudden questions or in oral exam or in stress, I always cannt answer in systematic way, not confident, nervous all the time and I feel like I am answering first thing in my mind without analysing to what I am going to say, except if study it by heart and always try to answer as i study it in the same sequence.

I don't do or I postpone anything requires me to focus ( like reading instructions on how to install something or sign up for exam or course online or if I have to setup something ) and if I have a choice I ask someone to do it for me , I cannt organise anything easily and always change what I am doing several times, when there is alot of choices I get confused and I postpone it, even I may not choose what I suppose to buy or take or I will ask someoneto make the choicefor me.

I forgot alot for example I may forget where I park my car and that happened more common with time, also sometimes, I feel like my brain is more clear in the morning or immediately when I wake up, and I may take a quick decision when I wake up but after that I feel my brain is not working the same and start to deteriorate as long as I stay awake.

Also I have problem in analysing data, and put it together for example I cannt solve problem solving questions easily)

I get score very good and some times excellent in written or MCQ exams but in oral exams or interviews as I mentioned before I cannt pass or I pass with difficulty.

I feel like something is holding me back all the time, , I am trying to improve my self all the time and went to many doctors in my country, they don't focus on this problem and they only focus on social anxiety or avoidance personality, which is accompanied with lack of concentration that I mentioned. And with time I feel like I am not improving or getting better and started to lose hope.

If any one knows a specialist or psychiatrist who I can contact by zoom or any online method and can diagnose and help me to improve, please send his contact details or tell me how to reach him

My son was diagnosed with adhd as a child and I refused to put him on adderal and ritalin meds bc of the long term side effects and future dependency. I always knew exercise and a diet high in omega 3 would do him better... and of course having a dog too ;)

I'm not sure what exactly you need to be diagnosed with ADHD in this day and age? I feel like everyone suffers from anxiety and low attention span, how do you exactly diagnose someone?
But I find it really helpful, I might and may not have it but I do have some issues that are related to the ones you mention.

I think what he is trying to say is just be human.

Twenty five years as a prison officer, never saw adhd, obviously this trained behaviour can be controlled when discipline is a factor.

I exercise like crazy and I’m more unfocused and crazier than ever. More propaganda from the medical community.

This makes sense, my son is always better when he laughs, physically active and when we cuddle him and get depressed when he is idle and not active
