The Heart Principle was my favorite of the series for sure. I love thrifting books. It is one of my favorite activities, which is why I have such a large physical TBR. Looks like a great haul.

the way i screamed, cried, threw up, collapsed on the floor, and was GASPING for air when I saw you physically holding An Ember in the Ashes. Chris is such a real one for gifting you THANK YOU CHRIS yessss then we can all talk about it!!
And you're so right, recently it has surprisingly been the YA mystery/thrillers that hit, idk what's wrong with the adult one's flopping so hard but i feel like a lot of the time they are trying TOO hard to outsmart the reader so they just make it stupid and illogical to try trick you for a 'twist'. Hope you love AGGGTM i need to do a re-read because i read it AGES ago and im still GAGGED, i think about the events of the story at least once a week!

Also I can confirm that, after dnfing the first two (they weren't *bad* i just didnt vibe with the narrative voice), i read the Heart Principle and i burst out into loud sobs and started crying on the treadmill, and it's the first thing that made me realise i was probably neurodivergent. I started bawling my eyes out and shaking because i felt so seen and not alone and it was like a dam broke in my mind. So safe to say i recommend it hahahah i need to re-read because it genuinely changed my life now that I think back.

seeing you in possession of so many of my fave books almost brings a tear to my eye YES READ THEM MWAHAHA but also i feel like when im excited to read a friend's hyped recommendation i put it off, so no rush/pressure haha 🥰

I know I buy cheap books all the time, but they're not necessarily the newest, or most popular, some of these are fantastic finds! Babel especially. AHHHH BOOK HAUL!! omgg u started the naturals!?? 👀 loved House in the Cerulean Sea! personally One Dark Window wasn't my favourite, but i think the hype might've gotten to my head, so hope u like it 😭 AN EMBER IN THE ASHES!! loved that book, still need to read the second half of the series. wish my dollar tree had books like this. so jealous! this is just my experience with victoria aveyard books, but Red Queen wasn't exactly great (i've only read the first two books though, so don't take my word on it). BUT i've been hearing great things about her later books, so can't wait to hear what u think of that trilogy! OHH BABEL! i know i keep saying this, but i need to read an rf kuang book and i PROMISE i'll do it this year 😤 i need to read agggtm cause i want to watch the show 👀 i've been wanting to get back into ya mystery's too! i just bought The Heart Principle on my kindle, so hearing that it's people's favourite is exciting 😆 Book Lovers is definitely my favourite book by emily henry, but i still haven't read People We Meet on Vacation and Happy Place. loved the book haul 💕

Great haul and you did a great job! I tried Lost Children but it was difficult for me to get through. There are so many well written ya and MG books out there. I’d like to read 451.. I can’t believe I have never read it. Have you read Intermezzo by sally Rooney? That is another book I dnfed. It will be interesting to see what you think of it.
