Honestly I was so hesitant to switch to a kindle. I love my paper back books. But last year I read over fifty books and I realized that purchasing all those books just to read them one or two times and then have them sit on a shelf was a bit of a waste. So I reluctantly made the switch. I love it. It was literally the best decision ever. It is super portable I hardly ever have to charge it I also am able to read books that are up to seven hundred pages without my hands getting tired from hold such a heavy book. I am glad to see more people making the switch and I hope you love reading on your new kindle!

Im glad people found it awesome but for me, the experience of flipping a page, feeling the paper, collecting these books, reading till 2 am after your eyes hurt from the words and just the physical book itself…

That is why i love reading, the experience

Also theres already soo much tech in our world, its nice to stick to the oldies :)

Kindles r great, I prefer them to books because of the good lighting (all the time), lightweight, easy access, takes up small space in my bag when I carry allot of things for work and access to soooo many good books! I bought the kindle basic and it’s so pretty! Best purchase. Books are great for home reading.

kindles are great for people who do not have the space for physical books copies, like myself. i enjoy physical books too, but i cannot dedicate a bookshelf for them. i have one section of my bookshelf for physical copies so i have to be a bit strategic on what i get physically versus digitally.

also, i started utilizing my public library again if i want a physical book as well.

I have Kindle Paperwhite. Can't say I'm in love with it, but I do read more. And some texts feels nicer to read on phones, like simple romans or fanfics (to me). And I love it when people decorate their Kindles. Pretty!

Buying a kindle is what got me into reading. It's lightweight, doesn't take up space, you can read in the dark, you can read with one hand, you can read several pages of a book to see if you like it before buying it, and kindle books are often a lot cheaper than real paper books. No regrets.

i absolutely adore my kindle! i have sensory issues that make touching the pages of a physical book that is old/other people have touched really uncomfortable for me. i read 3-5 books every week (i have a lot of free time) so being able to buy ebooks for cheap or borrow from my public library makes it a lot easier for me to acquire books. i’ve got a 10th gen paperwhite, and i 100% recommend it to anyone looking to buy one!!
