The WORST Things Hank Hill Has Ever Done 👿

Показать описание
What can you say about Hank Hill? He’s a cartoon dad who has a narrow urethra… barely has an ass... his friends are idiots... and his son, well, he just ain’t right. Despite all of those problems, Hank Hill is the beacon of hope for Rainey Street. Whenever somebody has a problem, Hank is there to fix it because that’s what he does: he fixes things. He’s a handy man with a master plan. But the one thing he can’t fix is his judgmental attitude towards things he doesn’t understand like Bobby’s love for fame… or mental illness… Or charcoal.

His stubbornness to comprehend things that fall outside of his comfort zone is really what his character is based around. And as much as he is an honorable, likable and decent man… Hank Hill definitely has some flaws, just like normal people. And as many problems as he fixes for his family, well, he’s done some bad stuff too… #KingoftheHill #KOTH #HankHill

Let's not forget that when Dale learned of johsephs smoking, he gave him information about the (Supposed) pros and cons of smoking, and let him make a decision himself. He never smoked again.

Hank's biggest flaw is believing that he always knows the right thing to do in any situation. In that sense he's like Peggy but with a conscience.

Bobby: “Why do you have to hate, what you don’t understand?”
That’s how to sum up Hank in one question.

This is one of the reason's Cotton favors Bobby over Hank is because Bobby isn't an insecure stiff looking for approval.

Imagine if Hank was only remembered for the things his community THINKS he did?! In their eyes he's:
- Physically abusive towards his son and wife
- An Eco Terrorist who is willing to blow up buildings/ car lots up to prove his point
- An alleged murderer
- A Pimp
- Mastermind behind a conspiracy to raise propane prices on the citizens of Arlen

The whole damn group could use some therapy...Hank is constantly repressed, Dale is delusional, Bill is Depressed, Boomhauer always has sex with some strange tail, Peggy has extreme overconfidence that even leads to her bullying her own son at points, Kahn and Minh have class and culture issues, Nancy is an attention seeker

Hard to believe the two most stable major adult characters are Luanne and Lucky...and both of them are the most simple minded

"Charcoal or me" is even more disturbing if you think about it. Would he divorce Peggy if she chose Charcoal over Propane?

It’s not a bad deed but hank’s reaction to not getting the same seats he does at church was crazy. If you come late to church just find a seat that’s open, don’t dwell on a space you can’t get but usually do. Going to another Church just cuz u lost ur usual seat is petty. And the fact that hank got his way in the end I thought was wrong. He should have learned to deal with a new space and graciously found a new spot.

Way back in 1998, we watched the smoking episode, "Keeping Up With the Joneses" in Health Class. I loved that teacher! He always found a way to keep our interest no matter the topic.

Attempting to rush Luane into a marriage to spite Peggy after he found out he wasn't her first time.

Throwing a temper tantrum after Luane wouldn't date the one man from the bar he liked because he held similar values as hank had even after she told him he was grabby and made her uncomfortable.

Remember when Hank forced Bobby to work for Jimmy Wichard and Bobby kept repeatedly telling Hank that there is something wrong with him and that he isn't right with Hank responding to him by saying he was being a baby. It got to the point where Bobby almost killed himself because of Jimmy Wichard, but it took that much for Hank to see that Bobby was right.

I remember when Hank said "What is this smut you are listening to, "
And Bobby said, "it isn't smut, it is radio Disney!"
You are way to strict if you don't allow radio Disney in your house.

Dude he blamed Bobby for his truck dying. Bobby saw him cry, and Hank blamed it on him.

There was an episode where Bobby becomes allergic to the family dog, Ladybird. Hank builds a dog house for her but she never goes inside. Hank decides that the best solution would be for Bobby to live inside the dog house, and he thinks that this is good for Bobby. Hank obviously loves his dog more than his son and the episode even tries to make you feel sorry for Hank when he's not with Ladybird.

And to think some of the moments in the series made it seem like Hank was both the main protagonist and the main antagonist of the show.

The thing that really ticks me off about Hank is that he's basically doing a less violent or overt version of what his dad did to him. Cotton belittles everything about Hank for reasons too ludicrous to be taken seriously, makes it his mission to undermine any sense of stability the man has in his own house, and actively bets against Hank whenever an opportunity presents itself. Hank belittles all of Bobby's interests outside of any he shares with the boy, he undermines any attempt Bobby makes to form his own identity outside of what Hank feels is acceptable, and while Hank doesn't bet against Bobby, he almost never shows any real faith in his efforts unless there's some kind of tradition built into it. It's pretty sad honestly.

The propane/charcoal thing always reminded me of my dad. He used to work for the electric company, and he would always get offended about any mention of solar energy.

This list will have to be twice as long if it was Cotton Hill

Here's what I think about Hank and Peggy being bossy and trying to get their way.
Their parents are the reason. After years of emotional abuse and mocking, they grew up trying to prove them wrong. Peggy is prideful because she's still trying to show her mom she can do better, and Hank is trying to enforce his own interests on Bobby because of his own father, not wanting him to be a disappointment
