Thanks for the tutorial. I think for people that want a less expensive option, this is great. I just want to get outside and play a simple game with the kids without breaking the bank.

Nice simple design and very cost effective. Might I suggest using a bolt rather than a screw for the pivot legs? Would prevent too much wear and tear at the pivot point.

Why cut 2x4s in 1/2? Why not just use 1x4s?

I've been building and selling custom cornhole board sets for years, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that these boards are NOT going to play well, or last very long. I get that you're trying to do it as cheap as possible, but I would encourage EVERYONE who watches this video to spend a little bit more money and use 1/2" sanded birch for the tops, and make the whole frames out of 2x4's without ripping them. Through hardware is also recommended on the legs: lag bolts & wings nuts are cheap and work great.

I would not be recommend that thin of plywood for the decks. Even with the supports, you will have lots of deflection, bounce and dead spots. I would rather spend a few bucks more than end up with poor playing boards.

This is cool, but you get what you pay for. As someone that makes professional cornhole boards for a large chunk of my living. These won't last long if your not very gentle handling/transporting them. Let alone heavy bags landing on them repeatedly 😬. In the same amount of work you might as well spend an extra 20 bucks a set and use half inch ply and 2x3s

That’s not how pricing works bud, the boards costed 26ish dollars not 18 just bc you used have the 20 dollar sheet doesn’t mean it costed 10 to make the boards
